About Us.

The development is named after the Hon. David Wynford Carnegie, an early explorer and gold prospector who conducted some amazing exploration around the Goldfields, right through to Halls Creek and back in the 1890’s. Carnegie used camels as his main transport, which are featured in the design of Carnegie Lodge to pay homage to Carnegie’s story.
